apartment Fonte Marcella is called this way because it is
very close to a spring known as "Fontebella", next to the so
called Monte Frumentario: it was built in 1556 under order of the
Governor of Assisi Marcello Tuto (who was from Siena and ordered it on
behalf of the Pope).
The apartment has a private entrance from the street and it is on the ground floor of a recently restructured building. The apartment has been restructured by craftsmen under the leading of its owners. A bedroom, a bathroom and a living-room with kitchenette are fitted up with modern furniture and with high style and from the apartment you have a great view on the surrounding valley. All this makes this apartment rich, intimate and comfortable, like the city of Assisi.
