Perugia. Originally founded by Giuditta Brozzetti in 1921, the textile laboratory has been carefully tended also by her descendants Eleonora, Clara and Marta. Since 1996 it has been qualified as a cooperative, with headquarters in the former Convent of San Francesco delle Donne. The business still produces its traditional Umbrian fabrics inspired by Renaissance and Medieval designs, and offers embroidery and weaving classes. Open for visits by appointment only
