To find yourself on the “piazza del Comune”, in the heart of Assisi, in front of the Temple of Minerva, You are going through an arch called "Volta Pinta" (Painted Vault) with the splendid 'grotesques" painted by Raffaellino del Colle in the 16th century.

At the end, discretely apart, the antique Restaurant Pallotta where Margherita is preparing her best dishes: Strangozzi with mushroom sauce, homemade tagliatelle, gnocchi of potatoes, rabbit in the “cacciatora" way, “testo” cake, pigeon at the English “ghiotta” and so many other kind of food cooked with love.

In the Trattoria Pallotta you can taste the typical dishes of the Umbrian tradition. The dishes are prepared exclusively with fresh products of local provenience.
