The Restaurant Sorella Luna is located near the little church of Porziuncola which is inside the impressive Santa Maria degli Angeli Cathedral, in Assisi.

Inside Restaurant: can seat up to 280 people and is made up of two rooms. The first is a very spacious and well-lit indoor room with air conditioning that is particularly suitable for working lunches, banquets, buffets, events. The second is a beautifully kept outdoor eating area that affords a magnificent view of the dome of the Basilica and is ideal for relaxing, candlelit dinners.

Outside Restaurant can seat up to 120 people for tourist group, fast-lunch, etc.

The Sorella Luna restaurant has been expertly managed for many years by the Tomassini family, also owners of the Hotel FRATE SOLE.

The restaurant’s two skilful chefs, Monia and Antonello, specialise in typical Umbrian cuisine – dishes prepared with simple, genuine ingredients that heighten natural flavours and quality. All ingredients used in the kitchen are of the finest quality and acquired fresh each day. None of the meat served in the restaurant frozen and all are certified according to the highest standards. The finest Umbrian wines act as a natural complement to meals served at the Sorella Luna restaurant.

Guests at the restaurant can order our , for a selection of cheeses and regional cured meats – a real journey through the tastes of Umbria.

The restaurant outside stays in an agreeable frame of flowers and plants and it received many appreciations by our clientele, in a particular manner, the evening, during the dinner, is possible to be present to the video projection of films and documentaries about our territory with its place full of spirituality and art.
